L21 - Yzerfontein Outspan

Our first camp for 2022 was held at Yzerfontein Caravan Park. We could arrive early on the Friday; the weather was lovely and hot with prevailing winds in the afternoon. By early evening all the campers were set up and on Friday night there was a great deal of catching up as everyone did their own thing. Some members waited for midnight to wish Roland A Happy Birthday with downing of shots to celebrate and then for a midnight walk on the beach.

Dave and I arrived at Yzerfontein on Thursday, 3rd February 2022 just after 11am for an extended weekend. Alex and Colleen had arrived the day before. It was raining lightly when we arrived, but conveniently stopped so that we could set up our van, awning and gazebo. Then the humidity set it. Phew, it was hot!!
