Our Pay it Forward mission continued, Sine last year we have built a good relationship with Kids Haven and knowing how difficult it can get we wanted to do something special for the little ones. We decided that we want to treat them all with an Eater packet filled with treats. Receiving these photos from Kids Haven after their Eater Hunt just made all the work worth it.

When is hunting season in South Africa?
In addition to the heat, the rains render the bush lush and thick. Though it may be pleasing to the eye, these are less than ideal conditions to enjoy a hunting safari. The consensus is, therefore, that the best time to hunt in South Africa is in the winter months from May to August So, with that said…. if you start now, you will have enough time to gear up your 4x4 vehicle for hunting season! Speaking of Hunting season…. we at Gerbers recently reached out to Helpende Hande to see where we can assist with more Pay it Forward projects. One of the Project that stood out to us was the #HelpJag project. This project is a National Project that Solidarity Helping Hand launched to help hungry needy children. Bakkies Botha, Adam Tas and Appel are our ambassadors. #HelpJag's research has shown that in many South African family’s meat is a luxury, something that is only served on special occasions. So many young children come to school hungry, and in many cases the meal at school is the only meal they will receive  for the day. We realize that their bodies cannot develop well without balanced meals, which is why #HelpJag was created. So we appeal to the hunters to donate some of the meat when they hunt. At the moment the need is very great here in the East Rand and we are getting more requests for help every day. With the #HelpJag project we can help to ensure these kids grow up healthy and happy. Gerbers Corner
Our team completed a custom job – White Camper conversion that consisted of solar manels, water systems, dal battery systems, Stripping and fitting of doors and other compartments of the camper. A series of Accessories like tables and able slides, Fridge Slide and Fridge Alu Box, Custom Fold Down frame for the wash basin and rubberising floors were added to this conversion.
