Awnings & Roof Top Tents
Outback Technitop Awning
Simple to put up, this roll-up awning can be fitted to either side of a vehicle or to a trailer.
It consists of a 1.2m base which opens up to 3m in width and extends outwards to 2.5m. It's stored in a zip-up canvas bag and supplied with 3 sections of slide-in aluminium extrusion which can be fitted to all 3 sides of a roof carrier or any other surface. The bag slides into these aluminium strips and then unfolds. It is supported by 3 poles and guy ropes. When not in use the bag can be stored in the vehicle.

Outback Technitop Shower Changing Cubicle
This tent is state of the art technology in rooftop accommodation. The shower cubicle has been enlarged to incorporate the tent ladder and create a complete enclosure that easily attaches to the tent.
An indestructable polyethylene case supports the frame of the
1.3m x 2.2m roof top tent which comes complete with mattress and flysheet. It all folds up with ease. Large windows and doors including a moon-roof are fully moquito proof and sewn into a riblock acrylic canvas. There is a choice of high density foam or inflatable air mattress. A heavy-duty PVC rain cover and ladder are part of this technically advanced roof top tent that sleep two adults in comfort.

The tent folds and packs away easily into a dustproof, waterproof and durable polyethelene case. Technitop tents are available with Shower/Change cubicles which attach to the overhanging tent base, as well as easy to erect Shade Awnings which attach to the tent or vehicle roofrack.
Canvas
Technitop Tents are manufactured from high quality Riblock Acrylic Dralon. This is a Teflon coated synthetic material ensuring excellent waterproofing properties while also being totally resistant to mould or rot.

Flysheet
Technitop Tents are fitted with a durable PVC flysheet. This flysheet is permanently attached to the tent but can be raised by a unique mechanism from inside the tent to provide an insulating air space between canvas and flysheet. This feature ensures that Technitop Tents are cooler in the heat of the day and less prone to interior condensation in cold conditions. Additionally the flysheet extends and is tensioned over the windows and doors, providing additional protection against sun and rain.

Mattress
Technitop Tents are supplied with a convoluted high density foam mattress in an attractive and removable cover. The bottom and sides of the cover are of water-resistant nylon preventing moisture absorption into the foam.
Windows
The large windows are fitted with separate mosquito netting and have the feature that the windows can be opened or closed from inside or outside the tent. The windows are as large as the doors, providing excellent ventilation in hot conditions. Additionally, double zip pullers allow the windows to be opened or closed progressively, allowing you to control the amount of air entering the tent.
Doors
Extendable interior poles allow the doors to overhang the base of the tent, providing excellent rain drainage. All doors have mosquito netting.
Extendable Poles
The four interior side poles are extendable, enlarging the interior of the tent considerably. This provides for an airy, spacious and comfortable interior.
Case
Technitop Tents are built into a plastic case. This case is manufactured from linear, low density polyethelene (LLDPE) and is manufactured by the rotational moulding process. The plastic used is UV stabilised and the case is extremely durable and hard wearing. The floor of the case has a double layer, ensuring a 40mm air gap between layers. This provides excellent insulation against cold coming up through the floor. Additionally, for rigidity, a lightweight steel framework is contained inside the floor. This framework provides support for the hinging mechanism, the ladder and also provides a strong mounting mechanism to attach the tent to the roofrack.
Standard colour is light grey but the following colours are available on request: Forest Green, Kalahari Sand, Chocolate Brown and Charcoal.
Ladders
Technitop Tents are supplied with a comfortable wide-runged ladder in any configuration - i.e. bullbar ladder for tents opening over the bonnet of the vehicle, or a two-piece ladder extension for tents opening off the rear or side of the vehicle or trailer. When not in use, the ladders are designed to be stored under the mattress inside the case.
Storage Cover
Every Technitop Tent is supplied with a lightweight PVC storage cover which keeps the tent clean and dry when not in use. This cover is recommended for use in adverse weather conditions as extra protection against water ingress into the tent. A heavy duty cover is available when tents are used commercially or when the tent and cover are left permanently on the vehicle.

Technitop Shade Awnings
A lightweight nylon shade awning with a built-in carrier bag, can be attached to the tent bases via the aluminum extrusion already on the base of the tent. This awning extends 3 metres from the vehicle, and is 3.5 metres wide at its widest point. This awning is supported by 3 extendable poles and tensioned by guy ropes and pegs. The extendable poles allow the awning to be adjusted in height to accommodate various weather conditions or uneven ground. When closed, these poles, are rolled up in the awning and zipped into the storage bag. This versatile awning is supplied with three lengths of aluminium extrusion, which can be attached to both sides and rear of most canopies and roofracks. This means that the awning can be used in three different positions on the vehicle.
Technitop Changing/Shower Enclosure
A lightweight nylon enclosure attaching to the overhanging tent base off the back or side of canopies and stationwagons. This enclosure provides privacy for dressing, showering, cooking or taking shelter from the weather. This enclosure is supplied with two extendable poles, guy ropes and pegs to enable the door of the enclosure to be raised horizontally to form a small shade awning.
