At Gerber's 4WD Accessories we have the experience and expertise to fit and install a wide range of 4x4 accessories. We also offer a wide range of off-road equipment from top brands as well as our own designs and customised products. When you see the impressive Bull Bars, Winches and Roll Bars you will know the strength and reliability they represent. That's the easy stuff, everybody does that. What you don't see is sometimes even more important, we use only the best in fitments, Norma hose clips for example on all our long range fuel and water tanks. When we refurbish bodywork the hinges are stripped and powder coated, seatcovers can be a boon or a curse depending on what you fit, there's nothing quite as irritating as sitting on a thick crease for 600 km's.
Our African Airless© Fuel and Water tanks are built from the finest raw materials, but inside they have unique venting paths which ensure your 45 litre tank actually carries 45 litres of fuel, not 40 litres of fuel and 5 litres of useless air. These fine details will serve you well in the short and long term, these are not vehicles you would want to swop out every other year, they are for the long haul, to build a relationship of trust and confidence that you need when you're out there...

CSS (Cellular, Sound and Security)
CSS is an adjunct to the Gerber's 4WD business, when customers invest in upgrading their leisure vehicles it's fairly obvious that they would both wish to spend extended periods in their vehicles and in addition wish to secure their investment. In common with most modern families cellular communication is a standard. For all these reasons it was a natural development for the company to develop in-house facilities and provide a more comprehensive service offering.
CSS is a specialist division of Gerber’s 4WD which focuses on the installation of high tech security systems, sophisticated sound systems and cellular installations. In addition to the sound and security, CSS also provide expertise in the installation of the double battery and power management systems. CSS is managed by Dolf Gerber making this a solid family oriented concern. CSS is VESA approved and in addition has approval certificates from, TATA, KIA Motors and Daihatsu. There are years of depth in CSS, Dolf has provided technical support for the industry as a product specialist and has over ten years personal experience to call upon. His reputation has ensured a solid business footing for this sector of the business and in terms of a one stop solution has added great value to the organisation.

Hi-Lift Jack Mounts & Hi-Lift Jacking Points
 This is probably the most important piece of equipment for driving off the beaten track. With a little experience you can get out of most situations with a good Hi-Lift Jack. You must however ensure that appropriate jacking points have been fitted to the vehicle, this is no bottle jack you can just stick under the nearest chassis member. The uses should also not be limited to just changing wheels, you can move a lot with one of these.

African Airless Tanks
Laser cut and welded stainless steel is the core of our tanks, no compromise on materials here. Tanks are individually designed for model and configuration. On completion of fabrication each tank is cleaned and pressure tested. Brackets are fitted and the pressure test is repeated. To minimise pitting the tanks are stone chip coated on completion. Now for the really interesting part, our tanks are hand built utilising almost 20 years of experience, one of the most important things we have come to understand is that there are two elements in that tank, fuel and air...
Trust us you won't get anywhere on air, so we have eradicated it from our tanks. An ingenious internal breather system allows the air to be vented, your 45 litre tank will now hold 45 litres, also designed with less fuel hoses to minimise restrictions.
